Thad's outdoor art is on display in Grand Junction and Montrose.  Summer 2009 Thad's newest outdoor sculpture will be displayed in Glenwood Springs and Boulder City, Nevada.

My first gallery show, in 1982, was surprisingly successful.  Surprising because I didn't really believe anyone would actually appreciate my work enough to buy it.  It was a great first "fix"! For me sculpting is like an addiction.  Sculpture, as good art, is like what you experience when you hear music that lights up your joy and brings a bit of wonder to the moment. The connection is mostly visceral and not so much driven by intellect.  It is a purely human and esoteric experience.  It invites me to enjoy  possibilities and connections with things remembered and forgotten, things known and only imagined.
